B-Stock / Scratch n Dent Limited Warranty

Definition: “B-Stock / Scratch n Dent” (or B-Stock) - Any Tregan Guitars Product that did not pass Tregan’s Quality Control inspection due to a flaw in the product’s finish such as, but not limited to, scratches, dents, bubbles, small chips, or color flaws, or blemishes in plated surfaces.  B-Stock products can also refer to a return from a customer that has been re-certified by Tregan Guitars.  In all cases B-Stocks have passed the mechanical inspection.  Meaning the product and all components have been inspected and passed for  playability (such as Intonation, action, tuning stability, and output)

T.G., Inc. Warrants your B-Stock guitar, for a period of five (5) year from date of purchase, to be free from mechanical defects in materials and workmanship (with the exception of the finish, as stated in defination above) to the original purchaser when purchased from an authorized Tregan Guitars dealer in the U.S.A. or Canada.  This limited warranty covers parts and labor for repair.

T.G., Inc. will repair or replace at its option, any Tregan Guitar or part which it finds to be defective.   If original materials are unavailable, T.G., Inc reserves the right to use materials readily available at time of repair. In no event shall the costs of repair for labor and materials exceed the original purchase price.  Purchaser must provide original proof of purchase before warranty obligations arise.  Purchaser is responsible for freight to and from service center.

Purchaser must complete and return registration including proof of purchase within thirty (30) days of purchase date to activate this Warranty.

Warranty shall not be applicable if T.G., Inc. determines, in its sole discretion, that any of the following has occurred:

1.  Damage or defects consist of normal wear items such as nut wear, saddle wear, fret wear, strings, batteries, or other regularly replaceable items.

2.  Instruments have been modified or customized.

3.  Instrument serial number has been removed or altered.

4.  Damage is due to temperature or humidity changes, long exposure to sun light, exposure to fire, moisture, body salts, acids & oils, any non approved chemicals.

5.  Damage or deterioration due to normal usage, wear and tear.

6.  Damage due to accidents, abuse, misuse, acts of nature, aging or neglect.

7.  Instruments not purchased from an authorized Tregan Guitars dealer.

8.  Damage due to incorrect setup.

 All electronics (such as pickups, switches, jacks, other electronic controls and circuits), tuning machines are warranted to the original purchaser from mechanical defects for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

This Limited Warranty supersedes and is in lieu of any and all other warranties and representations, whether oral or in writing.  No representative of T.G., Inc. has authority to make any representations or promises except as stated herein.

THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH EXTEND TO THE PRODUCTS.  IN NO EVENT SHALL T.G., INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT.  T.G., INC. SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW, FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.  THIS WARRANTY REPRESENTS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION OF T.G., INC. REGARDING THE PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or an exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.
